Falwell represents an old school faith. Of course what we give out comes back. Many atheists give and find that to be true. My church is working to help our community so to answer your question about how you wonder if churches are using tactics, not all of them but some are. Same as always. Could I have done it without tithingbeing generousetc. . Yes, I believe it possible for a man to do that, but I will tell you it would have not been possible for this man to accomplish it without God, and through it all that tithe represented a part of my thankfulness to God. For healing my marriage, for removing alcohol from my life, for new friends, a new lifestyle, a change of perspective, and a change of life. It's a very small gift I give , in the hopes that others find what I found, and in the long run that is the purpose of the tithe so that his glory be magnified, both in your life by giving, and in other lives by receiving the blessing.

Spending 80% of your earnings and only saving 10% is a fools move.
