I’ve been seeing these You Tube Videos called “Why Music Matters” recently. The first one I came across was on “The Doves” You Tube Channel which is one of my all time favorite bands. The video is artsy, really well done and paints this picture that music has played an important role in shaping our society and without it, life would not be the same. I obviously agree with this and it did strike a chord with me. Maybe with my help we can find a better way and “Save Music”.
I felt like I had been given the biggest guilt trip ever and it was kinda working.

Then I saw this one. Dammit……Sigur Ros is a part of this coalition as well? Now I really feel super guilty. What other of my favorite bands are with “Why Music Matters“? It was time to do some investigating.

These are all sites that would gain from people not illegally downloading. Where are the bands that are supposedly supporting this? Who the hell owns this site?
