The inaugural concert at Washington, DC’s Nationals Park was plagued with technical difficulties during Elton John’s set Saturday evening, which saw the icon storm offstage in front of 40,000 people. According to Big 100.3 www.idigbig.com, there was a problem with Elton John’s piano foot pedals, which caused the star to exit the stage as you can see in the video below.
Moments later, Elton returned to the stage to find Billy Joel under his piano with sleeves rolled up, trying to fix the problem……….in front of 40,000 people. After tinkering around and Elton not satisfied, Billy says screw it and calls his band up to play a tune. A+ move Billy!
