I had no idea Dave had switched from Jackson to Dean guitars. He may have been with ESP too but honestly I haven’t really kept up with Megadeth since the Countdown To Extinction release. They kinda softened up and lost their edge which in turn caused me to lose interest in the band.
However the new Megadeth album is amazing and they have finally figured out that the progressive album Rust In Peace was a huge landmark release for metal. Not only does the new album reflect that, but look at this guitar Dave is playing. I’m not one to go crazy for a paint job but when it’s one of your all-time favorite records then you can’t help but love it.
The price is actually not bad either. Only $1,199.99 at Sam Ash which is actually a lot lower then I expected.
